Here at AW&B, we are the behavioural specialists!

This means that we are able to help with all behavioural issues your dog may be experiencing such as reactivity, aggression, anxiety, poor social skills and much more!

We are one of Sydney’s only training companies who offer “come to you” behavioural training that have professional trainers who services areas all over Sydney and Beyond including Wollongong, the Northern Beaches, Blue Mountains and The Hawkesbury.

On top of behavioural training, we are also able to assist with general obedience training, off lead skills, loose lead walking, over excitement and jumping, socialisation and exposure. Our extensive knowledge as a team on canine behaviour allows us to explain to owners why their dog may be doing what they are doing, and provide the help to guide owners in the right direction as we strongly believe in TRAINING THE OWNER TO TRAIN THEIR DOG, we are just here to help and provide our knowledge, experience and tools to help you get great results.

Upon sending in an application form, our admin team can review your case and provide you with the most fitting and customisable programs for you to look over and make a decision. From there, a trainer will come to you and get started right in the comfort of your own home! We take a real world approach to dog training, meaning that once we have covered the basics in session one, we will go out into the real world and get working with you and your dog to help them work through their triggers, fears or problem areas!

We also offer zoom calls for anyone out of area or anyone wanting a consult before starting their programs!

We also offer group training classes to those who have completed a program with us. We only offer these classes to members as we need to ensure that all owners understand how to safely handle their dogs around distractions.

 ADDITIONAL TRAINING SERVICES

  • Enrichment walks are offered only to clients who have worked with us before.

    Enrichment walks involve our trainers taking your dog out for one on one training time working on your training needs and requests.

    These walks can also be used for dogs who need extra mental stimulation on their walks.

    These sessions are $80+GST and are only currently offered in the Penrith and Lower Blue Mountains areas by Trainer Chloe. If you are out of these areas our other trainers run these sessions independently from AW&B. Feel free to contact us for their details to book in if you like out of the areas listed above.

  • Our day-train service is a dog training service where you can drop your dog off for the day at our Penrith training facility and our trainers will work on any training requested or identified behavioural issues. Dogs also get a chance to socialise and learn something new!
