Understanding your dogs
At Animal Wellness & Behaviour, we take a thorough, relationship-based approach to dog training - one that prioritises clarity, structure, and long-term outcomes over quick wins.
We work across puppies, companion dogs, complex behavioural cases, and structured social environments, with a strong focus on reactivity, aggression, confidence building, socialisation and thorough puppy development. Our training is practical, evidence-based, and designed to build skills that translate into real life - not just in controlled sessions, but in the environments dogs and owners navigate every day.
Alongside individual & group training, we run a structured, training-led daycare that supports appropriate socialisation, impulse control, and ongoing development. Everything we do is centred on helping dogs feel fulfilled and understood, and helping owners become confident, capable handlers who are actively involved in their dog’s progress.

Behavioural Dog Training (1 - on - 1)
Behavioural training is at the core of what we do.
Our one-on-one sessions are designed for dogs struggling with issues that need a customised approach.
As behavioural specialists, we don’t just address surface behaviours - we look at the whole picture, including emotional state, motivation, learning history, and handler influence.
These sessions are ideal for owners who want a deeper understanding of their dog and are committed to doing the work required for meaningful improvement.

Group Classes
Our group classes provide a structured, controlled environment for dogs to build skills, confidence, and focus around real-world distractions.
Designed for dogs at different training stages, classes focus on engagement, impulse control, emotional regulation, and handler skills - with careful group management to ensure productive learning, not chaos.
We also run specialised workshops, including Dogs & Bubs.

Puppy Training
Much more than your regular puppy school!
Our puppy programs are designed to build confident, resilient dogs from the start.
Training focuses on foundations, social skills, handling, confidence, and appropriate exposure - giving puppies (and owners) the tools needed for long-term success. Programs are available through private sessions or small group classes for puppies under 6 months of age.

Do you want to perfect your dogs loose lead walking skills and teach them great off leash skills?
Or perhaps you want to work on your dogs social skills around other dogs one on one with the help of one of our helper dogs?

Day-Train
Our AW&B Day-train is a great way to get your dog out training,exercising learning and playing all while you are at work or enjoyingyour own time!
Our Day-Train is run by our experienced and qualified team of senior behavioural trainers.
During day-train hours, we are able to work on specific needs at your request, analyse and implement training strategies for your dog to improve their skillsets or modify their behaviour.

Structured Doggy Daycare
Our AW&B Social days are perfect for dogs who want to play and socialisewith other balances dogs in a safe and controlled environment. This service is provided to dogs who are 100% social with ALL dogs of allsizes and breeds and are able to play in a pack of dogs. We highly recommend this service to younger dogs needing a safe place to learn social skills and for dogs who are well balances and able to regulate their play style.
